Dan Hurd has spent his life working with his hands and building things that last. Raised in Atlanta, he’s run landscaping companies, flipped houses, handled demolition, worked as a professional photographer, and wired home theaters, security systems, and corporate AV installs as a low-voltage electrician. Decades of hands-on trade work taught him exactly what separates a job done right from one done fast. Dan founded Steel Coated Floors Nashville with his cousin and serves as its Chief Operating Officer. He’s the one walking your garage, taking measurements, and making sure every detail is handled. After a lifetime of doing it all, his focus is singular: making Steel Coated Floors the most trusted floor-coating company in the city. A lifelong snowboarder and hiker who’s trekked trails from the Smokies to New Zealand and traveled the world from Kenya to Tahiti, Dan is competitive, relentlessly positive, and happiest outdoors. But above all he’s a father — his thirteen-year-old daughter is the reason he does everything and his favorite person to laugh with. Settled, focused, and grinding harder than ever, he brings that same all-in commitment to every floor he coats.
